Argyll Forest Park has many interesting routes for all visitors, including woodlands, mountains, lochs, and glens. The first forest park to be opened to the public is often considered one of the most beautiful parks globally.
The park extends from the Holy Loch, an arm of the Firth of Clyde, to the jagged peaks of the Arrochar Alps. Its rugged landscape lies at one end of the Highland Fault, the great crack in the earth's covering that marks the boundary between the Lowlands and the Highlands of Scotland.
