About
Hawthornbank Guest House is a traditional bed and breakfast set in a quiet area of Oban, yet within easy walking distance of all shops, bars, restaurants and the esplanade. The ferry terminal and railway station are a 10 minute walk. It is a beautiful Victorian villa owned by Ian and Jem, and keeps many of its original features both inside and out. All rooms have en-suite shower rooms. Some with sea views, across Oban bay to the Island of Kerrera, Mull and beyond. All rooms are well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished for your comfort. Packed breakfasts are available from 6.30am for any guests requiring an early departure and traditional cooked breakfast is served from 8am – 9am. Continental breakfast is included in the price and vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available. The guest house has on site off-street private car park and fibre Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Ian and Jem are delighted that the Scottish Tourist Board has awards them with 4 stars for their guest house every year and also a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor. So, if a visit to Oban is part of your holiday plans, Ian and Jem would be delighted to welcome you into their home.
